OLMC Burraneer Afternoon tea Saturday 25 Feb 2017

A new look OLMC Burraneer was revealed to those who attended the afternoon tea. This was an initial event to revive an ex-students' association or Alumni. Twelve of us from the class of 1964 attended. It wonderful to see all the new buildings and to reminisce on old times.

It is planned that the new Alumni will be organising a yearly Mass and refreshments.

Below are some photos of OLMC Burraneer in 2017, and of our class attendees. Unfortunately I missed taking a photo of Carol Lang (Barton)

The Library (roughly where the 5th year and 3rd year classrooms used to be)

The pool entrance and buildings on the old bowling greens

The lower lawn area is all artificial grass now. Looking towards the oldest section.

A closer view of the older section showing where the chapel was and the nuns' accommodation.

The renovated chapel. It is smaller and the entrance is now near the front.
